Our full radial BR-1 Flying Scot spinnaker has proven to be hands down the fastest, most durable and easiest to trim spinnaker ever designed for the Flying Scot. The sail has over 10 NACs and Midwinters along with countless regional regattas. The BR-1 is designed so all the panels in the sail are fully aligned with the load paths. This makes the shape rock solid throughout the wind range and also adds tremendous durability. It is flatter in the head than other spinnaker designs which helps maximize projected area, effectively giving you a bigger sail.
Constructed using AEROTECH spinnaker cloth near class minimum weight the sail delivers the perfect balance of performance and durability. The BR-1 is available in two standard panel layouts, "flag" and “star” or you can choose a solid color layout from a vast array of available colors.
